1. Free Ice Cream & Entertainment for FFA Members. The College of ACES is hosting a free ice cream social and college experience on Friday afternoon after the Poultry, Horticulture, and Livestock (non-reasons) CDEs. Starting at approximately 12:00 PM we will be handing out free ice cream on the South Quad, outside the north side of the Stock Pavilion. College student ambassadors will be hosting games and fun activities to entertain your students while you wait for the Reason’s division to finish. You are welcome to come anytime between 12-3 PM, have a picnic on the South Quad, order food delivery, or enjoy ice cream and games on a beautiful campus day. No need to sign up but feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

2. CDE Parking – MAJOR CHANGE. We are no longer able to use the church parking lot. This year we will be providing free parking for everyone attending Super Friday. Attached is a map of parking lot F23, note it is only three blocks from the Plant Sciences Lab. Parking is free, and no hangtag or pass is needed. Shuttle vehicles will be available to transfer teachers to each CDE location, including livestock. For those new to campus, maps are available at registration. Note it is further from the Livestock CDE, so please plan accordingly so we can start on time.

3. Candlers for Poultry. Due to larger registration for the Poultry CDE, we need candlers. If you have a candler, please bring it to the Stock Pavilion on Friday. Please, no homemade candlers only manufactured units similar to those used in the past. We appreciate your assistance.

4. Horticulture Supplies. Participants in the Horticulture CDE should plan to bring a ruler and non-programable calculator. Some rulers will be available. However, everyone is encouraged to bring their own supplies.

5. Smart Watches. Note that smartwatches such as Apple Watches are not permitted in competition areas. Please review the general CDE rules for additional information on items not permitted.
