Support Williamsfield FFA Alumni in "Power To Do More" Contest by Corteva Agriscience

Saturday, June 22, 2019

***Sent to All Contacts

The Williamsfield FFA Alumni & Friends is part of a semi-national contest that started yesterday, and we're hoping we can get some support from the Illinois FFA Association.

Local farmer and active FFA Alumni member Marsha Strom submitted a photo of our community's Playground Barn-Raising Project (a local FFA Alumni and Parks Association project) to show the "power of her community" in the Power To Do More Contest by Corteva Agriscience.  Her photo entry is a top 10 finalist out of 230 submissions from 12 states!

We have entered the public voting phase and need as many people as possible to vote daily NOW through July 8th at

The top vote-getter wins $10,000 for their nonprofit of choice. Marsha's designated nonprofit, the Williamsfield FFA Alumni & Friends, will use the money to buy tools, equipment and educational materials for the newly renovated agriculture classroom and shop at our small-town, preK-12 school.
Marsha's photo is the ONLY ONE from Illinois supporting an FFA Alumni affiliate, so we are hoping to have your support! Please ask your staff to vote daily and share with fellow Illinois FFA members on social media platforms with the attached jpeg or PDF. We'd love your support to win $10,000 for our school's ag program!
Thank you!
