Position   Agriculture Teacher/FFA Advisor
Description   Freeburg is located in Section 22 of St. Clair County. Currently 64 students are enrolled in 3 classes. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching agriculture education courses in a high school of approximately 750 students. The course load is anticipated to be the following: Introduction to Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscaping, Biological Science Applications in Agriculture, and Physical Science Applications in Agriculture. FCHS is interested in a dynamic teacher who is willing to build a newly expanded program while achieving and maintaining excellence.  This position is available due to a retirement of Mr. Tom Range and administrative decision to expand the agricultural education program from half-time to full time.  Very supportive FFA Alumni and community as well.  While the application deadline is listed as March 18, 2005, the position will remain open until a suitable applicant is hired.  District Link: http://

For more information, concerning other agricultural education, science, and industrial technology teaching vacancies, go to this site -   I have not received a confirmation from administrators to place these vacancies on the ag. ed. website.   Red Hill High School at Bridgeport has a vacancy under agriculture, and Belleville West High School has 3 vacancies under Biology which one position could be teaching agriscience.  Questions pertaining to these two schools, please give me a call or email before applying.
