Will Illinois and the United States Have a Shortage of Future Leaders and Agricultural Employees?
The agricultural industry will continue to need qualified, enthusiastic, and energetic employees to maintain our nation’s status as a world leader in food and fiber production.  To see first hand the cream of the crop of our future employees, agriculture industry leaders and representatives will have the opportunity to meet and network with nearly 750 college and university students majoring in agricultural degree programs from across the United States.  The Postsecondary Agriculture Student(PAS) organization will be holding their National Conference in St. Louis, March 14-18th.   The industry luncheon will feature a welcome from the National PAS Board, the retiring address from Dwight Little - Vice-President of the National PAS Organization, and the signing of a St. Louis Proclamation for National Agriculture Day.   Some members have signed up to be a judge and/or display a company exhibit.  Your luncheon fee will be waived if you are a judge for ag career events on Friday from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  To volunteer, email [email protected] - Dean Dittmar, President, St. Louis AgriBusiness Club.
