2- National Entrepreneurship Week

February 23–March 1, 2008 - The Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow are in Our Schools Today
National Entrepreneurship Week celebrates the contributions of entrepreneurs in America and the value of educating students in 21st century skills.

All students need entrepreneurial skills to succeed in workplaces of the future, whether they become business owners or gain employment in emerging entrepreneurships throughout our economy. Educators can utilize National Entrepreneurship Week to inform parents, students, and policy leaders about opportunities to more effectively engage and prepare students for successful futures.

3- World Agricultural Forum Overview

Agriculture is poised to change the world for the better. Sustainable agri-food systems can reduce the world’s dependence in natural resources, which are depleting rapidly with industrialization. Sound water resource management can increase economic stability and decrease civil unrest. Investments in bioenergy and access to agri-related technologies, particularly among small farmers, can spur economic growth globally while also fostering peace and security by minimizing dependence on oil. Fair trade policies can encourage efficient distribution and production of agriculture worldwide, thereby increasing prosperity and reducing hunger and poverty.
