FY09 Incentive Funding Grant - Budgets Active
The online budget forms for the Incentive Funding Grants for Agricultural Education are now active.   Complete your budget ASAP.  We need to maintain the already established September 15 budget deadline to my office or the flow of funds to the school districts will be delayed. This is not a postmark date.

Here's How:  Teachers need to login to the Agricultural Education website and click on the "Incentive Funding Grant" link.  Next, click on the green button "Budget Form FY09".  Complete the budget online, finalize it, print it, secure signatures and then forward to my office. Please be sure to click the finalize and submit button before printing or the signature lines will be marked draft copy, not for signature. 
If you need more detail, instructions for completing the budget that includes budget category descriptions and NON-ALLOWABLE BUDGET ITEMS can be accessed by clicking on the “Instructions for Completing Budget” link on the IFGA login page or by clicking on the “Instructions” link on the left column of the IFGA main menu page. The instructions are also at the end of this message.  The direct link is: 

Professional Development plans and Graduate Surveys of your May 2008 graduates are due online from the same area of your budgets by September 30th.

Improvement($10,000) and First Impressions($1500) Grants are due by the end of September.  For an application, click here -  If you would like to view a completed application from awarded applications from past years, let me know and I will get them to you.

District Agriculture Teacher Meeting and the Reporter's Workshop - Thursday, September 11th - 6 p.m. in the Theater of Rend Lake College, Ina. FFA Advisors will meet in ASC Buidling, rooms 102 & 103.  ITCS will be making their new product presentation at this meeting.
