People Magazine, March 30, 2009, recently had a one page feature story(page 94), People Heroes Among Us, where Dannette Ward, Senior Scientist at Monsanto, is honored with FFA members at Clyde C. Miller Career Academy in St. Louis, MO.  Story is attached for your viewing.   Dannette Ward has been a huge supporter of FFA and agricultural education and recently has presented at recent ICAE/ILCAE events.

Description     The Clay City High School(120 students in grades 9-12, with 35 taking ag courses) is located in Section 23 of Clay county off of Highway 50 between Salem and Olney. Courses include: Introduction to the Ag Industry, Ag Science, Ag Mechanics, Horticulture, and Agribusiness. Traditional facilities of classroom and mechanics/science lab. Salary at 0 year/BS is $28,700 with a 3% stipend and partially paid health insurance. Supportive community and adminstration. For more information:
