Update - Program Growth & Development Initiative - Metro-East

Wednesday, September 02, 2009

The Program Growth and Development Initiative in the Metro-East(primarily St. Clair and Madison Counties) started nearly a year ago with the hiring of Mr. Kim Haywood.

This initiative in various forms is ongoing with all of the program advisors though an individual is important to carry-out the activities and push things along in a high populated, urban area of the state.  This project is similar to the addition of a new high school agriculture teacher and county Ag In The Classroom coordinator that did not have a school or county program before.   Our successes have far outweighed our setbacks for the year.  The report below and attached is an update for you.  Kim and I would be happy to hear any ideas, suggestions, and concerns that you may have.  Kim's email is [email protected].
