Farm Bureau Youth Activities Request

Friday, September 04, 2009

Greetings High School FFA Advisor from Mariah Dale-Anderson...

If you have not heard all ready, I have accepted the Youth Activities Manager with the Illinois Farm Bureau and I am no longer working at the Illinois FFA Center. Even though I am no longer at the FFA, I will continue to work with FFA in my new role!
The position, which was long held by Dave Stille, has now been split into two management positions. I will be working with the Youth Ed programs and Jennifer Smith will be working with the Young Leader programs. The reason of this endeavor is to provide more time and growth for both programs.
I have hit the ground running and have started evaluating the programs that IFB provides to youth. This first year, I am going to focus on the IFB© Youth Conference and the Heritage & Coop Tours. Next year, I will focus on the Heritage & Coop Award Programs. I hope that getting feedback from YOU, the teacher, will assist with the growth of these programs and events.
The first stage of this evaluation process is a survey regarding Youth Conference that I am asking teachers to complete online. It will take around 5 minutes to complete and I ask that it be completed by September 18th! Below is a link to the survey:
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at my new contact information listed below. Thank you for your time!
