Results of FFA Membership Survey

Thank you to everyone(223 schools or 70%) that completed the survey online. Attached and below are the results.  The attachment is an Excel document.  Survey results are tabbed at the bottom.  More information regarding the FFA Affiliation Task Force will be discussed at each of the section IAVAT winter meetings.


How are FFA dues currently paid by students at your school? (Responses are indicated as number of schools responding.  Ex: 130 schools have 100% FFA dues paid individually per student. )

-School District pays 100% of 100% of all the ag ed students
-95%- The FFA Chapter pays every student's dues that takes an ag class regardless of their fundraising or work contribution. Students not taking an ag class due to conflict must pay full dues to join.
-Chapter pays the dues for every student enrolled. They receive a grade for their FFA participation

-Next year we move to the course activity fee. Currently 100% membership collected from each student at the start of the school year.

-As of September 2009 My school does not allow fundraising or any money collected from students. Advisor will pay senior ffa dues only.
