Applications accepted for a Part-Time Agriculture Instructor


Shawnee College is located about 45 minutes south of Carbondale in Ullin between Interstates 24 and 57.  Kevin Rhodes, ag instructor for the past four years, is moving to New York.  Kevin is leaving a successful program with 90+ students enrolled.  Teaching assignments will be during the day  including Crop Science, Soil Science, Animal Science, Ag Economics, and Use of Ag Chemicals.  Enrollment in the college is about 3000 students.  For more data, click here  and the college website

Qualifications
Required: Master's degree in Agriculture with 18 hours of graduate level agricultural courses.
Preferred: Three years teaching experience and community college experience.

Salary: $450.00 per credit hour
