Ag Grant Budgets - Try to Mail by this Friday

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

*Message sent to District 5 and Section 15 ag teachers.

If posible, please try to have your Ag grant budgets finalized online by this Friday.  Print, get signatures, and send 'original' to me in the US mail, so that I receive on or near September 21st.

If the printer friendly version does not work, then go back to file, print, etc.  If this does still not work, then try from another computer and/or send me an email.  I will print the budget for you and fax it back for signatures.

Below are more descriptive clarifications for these budget lines-

414      "Curriculum/Supplemental Instruction Materials" - most of the ITCS CDs, DVDs, AgriScience kits, resource materials/texts, EZ Records(paper and online), posters, some consumables (5% cap) unless they specifically fit into another area, etc.  For example, printer cartridges would better fit into line 416.

416      "Computer/Audiovisual Equipment" - purchase of computer or audiovisual equipment for the agriculture department costing less than $500 per unit (i.e. printer, digital camera, printer cartridges, etc).

418      "Agricultural Science Tools and Equipment" -  There are a few kits that better fit into this area (i.e. Biodiesel, Ethanol, etc.) but could still be in instructional materials depending upon if tools/equipment are included in the kit.

470      "Computer Software"  - This is typically landscaping packages or Microsoft software or other specific software  would be loaded onto your computer (doesn’t run off a DVD/CD drive to run the program).
