Monday, November 08, 2010

*Message sent statewide.

Only 8 weeks are left to get your local farmers enrolled in America’s Farmers Grow Communities, a program offered by the Monsanto Fund that allows farmers a chance to win $2,500 for their favorite local nonprofit organizations. Through this program, farmers can give back to their communities where they live and work and assist their local organizations like 4-H, FFA, fire departments, schools, libraries and hospitals to just name a few. One farmer from each of the 96 Illinois-eligible counties will win.

ATTACHED IS MORE INFORMATION.
If your county could benefit from these funds, reach out to your local farmers (age 21 and older) and have them register(1 minute) at www.growcommunities.com.
