The W-CL Radio Agriculture Scholastic Bowl is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, February 18th and 19th at the radio station in -cLeansboro. The staff at W-CL has 14 FFA chapters signed up, BUT they would like to have 2 more teams for two full brackets(8 teams per day). "f you school is interested in participating, please call Steve Browning or Edna on Thursday at 643-2311 or 435-8100. Teams ready to play are: Benton, Sesser, Pinckneyville, -t. Vernon, -arion, Eldorado, Wayne City, Olney, Frankfort, -cLeansboro, NCOE, Cisne, Gallatin County, and Odin. Pairings will be made on Thursday afternoon. FFA advisors will be contacted on Friday regarding the time of their first competition.

-The St. Louis Agribusiness Club will be meeting on -onday, February 17th at 11:30 a.m. at the Holiday "nn, Collinsville. Teachers and agriculture students are encouraged to attend. The Club will pay luncheon tickets for students and teachers that do attend. The featured speaker is Terry Wolf, a farmer from Homer, "L who also serves as vice chairman of the Washington-based U.S. Grains Council. He will be reporting on his September trip to Cuba to meet with government officials and potential customers. He also participated in the U.S. Food and Agribusiness Expo that was held in Havana. He also owns Wolf Grain Systems, which markets -ayrath augers throughout the -idwest.
