Farm Credit Awards Community Improvement Grants
Totaling $8,500 to 4-H and FFA Youth

More than thirty different 4-H clubs and FFA chapters throughout central and southern Illinois are each being awarded a $250 grant to assist their respective group in implementing an improvement project in their local community. Farm Credit is recognizing 34 different 4-H clubs and FFA chapters with $250 grants for submitting outstanding grant applications and plans to complete an improvement project in the coming months.

This is the fourth year Farm Credit has funded community improvement grants for 4-H clubs and FFA chapters. More than $20,000 of grants has been awarded since 2009. “It is a privilege for Farm Credit to share a vision for healthy rural communities with 4-H and FFA members. We congratulate these 34 clubs and chapters and salute them for making positive and tangible contributions in their local communities,” says Rod Stoll, vice president of public relations for Farm Credit.
