*Message sent to District 3, 4, 5 Ag. Teachers

PLEASE take time prior to the Labor Day Weekend to send in your registration for the Greenhand Conference and Reporter's Workshop on Tuesday, September 4.

The SIUC Collegiate FFA assists District 5 Agricultural Educators in many ways,  they need your help in registering your students ASAP.  As of Wednesday, less than 10 schools had sent in their registration forms.

Official FFA dress is highly recommended for students attending the FFA Reporter's Workshop.  FFA polos/nice T-shirts are recommended for greenhand students.  Please no hats or unacceptable clothing.

Please email or fax the attached registration form with student names, so that they can be assigned to groups for efficient and quick registration on Tuesday.

Follow these steps for a successful event:

- Fax or email registration form ASAP, no later than Friday.

Tuesday, Sept. 4th at 5 p.m. or earlier - Arrive at SIUC campus, park in the Ag Building parking lot and unload all students.

- Sign-in your students and pay for registration fee in the foyer of the Agriculture Building.  $5/student and advisor

- Take group picture.

- Enjoy pizza dinner.

- Students are assigned into groups.

- Group leaders chaperone greenhand students to the Student Center.

- Students attending the reporter's workshop and ag teachers will remain in the Ag Building for their respective meetings.

- End time will be prior to 8:30 p.m.  Students will be chaperoned back to the Agriculture Building.

For more information, email Ryne Fullerton, Collegiate FFA Advisor, at [email protected], fax - (618) 536-7734, or cell - (618) 314-0553.
