-Illinois FFA Alumni Annual Meeting is set for Friday and Saturday, January 30-31, 2004, at the Hilton Hotel in Springfield. Local partnership grants are available to assist in sending delegates to this meeting. A grant in the amount of $100(maximum) is available for alumni chapters that have a representative in attendance who participates both days. To qualify, each FFA Alumni Chapter must: 1-Complete the advance registration form. 2-President must sign and mail the registration form by January 20, 2004. 3-Chapter representative must sign in at each session of the annual meeting. 4-Grant checks will be mailed following the meeting. These funds are provided by the Agricultural Education Line Item. Encourage your FFA Alumni members to attend.

-Take Time to Reorganize Over Christmas Break - It was always great for me as an ag. teacher to have some relaxing time over the holidays to plan for the new semester and tidy up my facilities from the past semester. Whenever I did, it seemed to make the whole semester flow so much better. I challenge everyone to take a day or two to reorganize over Christmas break.
