1. Thank you for feedback
I want to thank each of you for letting me know that you were not receiving the Illinois Foundation FFA Updates.  If you had not provided this information, we would still not know that many of you were missing emails with important information about the 2013 Collection Drive.  I am sorry that you may not have the information that you needed.  We will be testing the system over the next coulple of days to insure we have it resolved.  Thank you.

Foundation Board Approves Chapter Incentive Recognition System for 2013
The Board of Directors approved the Illinois FFA Foundation Incentive Recognition system for Chapters. The details of the process are included as an attachment to this email. The three key items are:  1.  No longer a minimum or fair share beginning with the 2013 Collection Drive affecting plaques and awards from this year forward.  2.Creating incentives that reward chapters for their work in the collection drive. 3. Sharing a portion of additonal revenues with chapters.
If no minimum or fair share why should our chapter contribute? Our expenses continue to grow as they do at the chapter level.  It is just as important now as before to help support the collection drive.  However, it does provide the chapter with greater flexibility.  I encourage every chapter to do what they can.
What is a good target?  The previous minimum and fair share amounts are still very good targets, while realizing that this may not be possible in all cases.  Should you have any questions about the recognition system please let me know.
Collection Drive Deadlines
The deadline for submitting the 2013 Collection Drive Contributions is January 31, 2014. Please have your transmittal and contributions post marked by that time. As a reminder, the checks and the transmittal forms are sent to:
Illinois National Bank
Trust Department
P.O. Box 583

Please let me know where you might be in the drive process.
