Summer Agricultural Institutes are being planned in Belleville and in Murphysboro. 

The course is open to all Illinois educators, grades Preschool – High School. Applicants that are selected will be notified. Space may be limited. Early registration is encouraged.

SAI is designed for educators who wish to expand their curriculum to include topics related to agriculture-the world’s food and fiber system. The course focuses on how to integrate available resources and hands-on activities about agriculture and the environment into an existing classroom curriculum.

Cost of Summer Agriculture Institute
·        $  65       Cost of 21 CPDU’s from Southern Illinois University
·        $450       Cost of Instruction and 3 Graduate credits from Aurora University
·        $466.37 Cost of Instruction and 1 Graduate credit from Southern Illinois University      
·        Scholarships may be available through the County Farm Bureau in the county in which your school is located.
