Resource - Equine Science - Erin Venable, SIUC

Saturday, June 14, 2014

*Sent to D5 Ag Teachers.

Hi Ag Teachers-
Erin Venable presented at the D5 Professional Development at SIUC on June 6th.  Attached is her PPT resource.
 She used it as follows:
-Printed out the digestive track parts of the powerpoint.
-Laminated back to back.  Example - Stomach on one side and the description of stomach on the back side.
-Assigned students to stand in the front of the room in the order of how feeds were digested in the equine digestive track.
-Students read their part and Erin described as they went along.
Great resource.
Feel free to contact Erin below with more Equine questions.  She is also available throughout the school year to be a guest speaker in your classroom.
