Tuesday, March 03, 2015

*Sent Only to Ag Teachers.

Greetings Fellow Ag Educators:

This email is to ask/beg you to complete a short questionnaire on adult agricultural education that will only require FOUR MINUTES of your time and will not hurt you in any way!   Click for survey -
LINK.  There will be 8 drawings for $50 cash should you elect to complete the survey and enter your contact information (contact info will NOT be shared)!

More information below if you wish to read it....

My name is David Mauk, I am currently a Ph.D. student in agricultural education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. I am writing to you today to ask for your help by taking advantage this opportunity to participate in this important research project.

This research is looking adult ag education in high school ag education programs and the value of those programs if they exist. A large gap exists in the research on high school adult ag education programming as the latest research comes from the early 1990's. In order to take advantage of having your opinion heard, you will only need to click on the link within this email which will direct you to the questionnaire on SurveyMonkey so that your responses can be recorded.

The maximum amount of time that will be required is 4 minutes or less. The link will be available through March 14, 2015 at 8 pm. The results from this study will be used to determine the current status of adult agricultural education. Your response will only be used to develop a summary of adult agricultural education programs and educators and will not be shared with any other individual or entity. I humbly ask that you participate in this study as a professional agricultural educator. The greater the number of people that respond the clearer the picture of adult programming will be and the more useful this research will be to all involved in agricultural education.

Link for survey.  Please feel free to contact my major professor or myself via email or telephone if you have any questions. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
