The College is seeking candidates who have a strong commitment to student learning and to the use of technology and innovation in the delivery of instruction. In addition to teaching, responsibilities include curriculum development, assessment of student learning, program review, student recruitment and advisement, program coordination, institutional committee participation, and other related duties. Position will begin Fall 2004 semester and is a second full-time faculty position due to expansion of program. "alary range for Bachelor’s degree is $30,525 to $45,885 per academic year. Degree granting institutions must be regionally accredited. Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field. Two years community college teaching experience and Master’s degree preferred. Mechanical skills and background in Agronomy also desirable.

-FY05 Incentive Funding Grant Application must be finalized online by June 30, 2004. The application must then be printed; signed by yourself, principal, superintendent, and Board of Education President; and sent to your FCAE field advisor by July 15, 2004. If you have appeals, click on the red question mark as a part of the application. If you have questions, please contact your field advisor.

-District 5 IAVAT Professional Development Workshops will be held on Thursday and Friday, July 22 and 23, 2004, at the Four Points "heraton Hotel in Fairview Heights. "hawnee College and the Viticulture Enology "cience Technology Alliance(VE"TA) will be co-sponsoring this summer’s professional development workshops. VE"TA would like to publicize the importance of the viticulture industry in Illinois. Dr. David Ponce at "hawnee College is to be commended for his efforts in offering this grant and his expertise.
