Foundation Collection Drive Information

Thank you for all your interest and support the 2016-2017 Collection Drive.  We appreciate your time and dedication to this very important task. The Illinois Foundation FFA is dedicated to supporting experiences that will meet the future needs of students and employers while accomplishing the current purposes of agricultural education. These gifts support FFA at the chapter, section, district and state levels. The Foundation gifts directly support the future of the Illinois Association FFA and its members through support of local chapters and its members for leadership conferences, leadership camp, Supervised Agricultural Experience grants, plaques and monetary awards for Proficiency Awards, travel stipends and scholarships for students to pursue additional education. In addition, it provides financial support to the State FFA Convention, State Officers, career development events and State FFA Degrees.

All Foundation Toolkit documents to support your efforts for the local collection drive are now available. Most of the documents, you will find are similar to previous years. We have updated the letterhead to be in line with National FFA’s standards and regulations of the FFA logo. One new item that is included is a newly designed pledge card that can be included along with the letter you send out. These pledge cards are designed to help us collect updated physical and email addresses to be able to communicate our appreciation to those who are supporting the Foundation. These can be ordered easily through Vistaprint or one of your local printing businesses. They are designed to fit in a business size envelope.

Below are the instructions to access the Foundation Toolkit documents.

  • Go to
  • Hold cursor over Downloads at top of page. Then click on Foundation Toolkit. You will proceed to the Foundation Toolkit page.
  • Once on the Foundation Toolkit page, please read the paragraph and click on the Foundation Toolkit button.
  • By clicking on this button, it will take you to the Google folder with the documents necessary to complete your chapter’s local collection drive.

This year our goal is a grass-roots effort of $500,000 from you, our donors and supporters across the state. Our hope is to have the local collection drive wrapped up by January 31st  for reporting purposes at the Foundation Annual Meeting. If at any time you have questions regarding the local collection drive or any Foundation business, please feel free to contact the Illinois FFA Center at (217)753-3328 ext. 106.
