Position   Ag Teacher & FFA Advisor

The Johnston City High School located in Johnson County of section 24 along Interstate 57 just north of Marion has an agriculture teacher vacancy for the 2017-18 school year. About 110 students out of 325 9-12 grade students are enrolled in agriculture courses including: Introduction to the Ag Industry, Ag Science, Ag Mechanics, Ag Construction, and Ag Business Management. Facilities include: classroom, mechanics lab, garden, and landscaping areas. Salary and benefits: BS-0 years is $38,750, 100% paid employee health and dental insurance, 50% paid family health and dental insurance plus a paid life insurance policy. 15 sick days, 4 personal days, and 3 funeral days per year are included. FFA stipend is $1600. Supportive administration and community.
