As you may have heard or read over the past several weeks, the new SIU Chancellor, Carlo Montemagno, has introduced a ‘strawman’ proposal for reorganization of the university.  A few details were provided at the State of University Address held on September 26, with additional details released on October 19 in regards to colleges and schools with placement of programs.  All information regarding the proposal including the video of the presentations and the slides are available at this link.

There have been ongoing discussions within the college regarding the structure of the college.  The college administration would like to offer a conference call session to anyone that would like to participate for an update on the outcomes and insight from the faculty and department chairs.  We apologize for the short notice, but the Chancellor has asked for feedback by November 6, 2017.

This conference call session is scheduled for Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2 p.m.
