***Sent to All Contacts

Dear colleagues and stakeholders of the Illinois Foundation FFA,

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I am leaving my position at the Illinois Foundation FFA. My family needs my time and attention at home, and you all deserve someone who can devote their time and attention to this cause.

I have enjoyed my tenure here, and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with all of you. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time with the Foundation. I hope you all feel like we have made some difficult, yet necessary changes and drawn attention to the areas that need direction.

This Foundation is strong. Its supporters are many. The dedication to Illinois FFA is unwavering. I know this Foundation will continue to be the cornerstone of the Illinois FFA Center activities. I look forward to witnessing the growth and prosperity of the Illinois Foundation FFA.

Mindy has asked me to assist with training of those who will work with the Foundation's daily activities. I will gladly help with the transition. You can always reach out to Tammy Yard with local collection drive questions, and please talk to Katie Burns about corporate/industry contacts or sponsorships. All other Foundation business should be directed to Mindy.

Thank you again for everything. I wish you all the best.

Krystal Jungmann

NOTE from the Illinois FFA Center Administrative Council:

Staffing Needs - With the resignation of the Major Gifts Associate, Administrative Council evaluated the salary budget and saw funds were available from using the major gifts associate part time salary and the contracted part time bookkeeper to hire an in-house bookkeeper to replace the contracted part-time bookkeeper currently working for the Illinois FFA Center. This bookkeeper would take on financial and foundation data entry responsibilities from other staff, increasing the time others have to take on tasks without increasing salary expenses. The position and job description was posted over listserv and the current bookkeeper is assisting in vetting candidates for their ability to meet our needs. Interviews are being conducted, and the position will be filled by the end of January.

Thank you Krystal for your service to the Illinois Foundaiton FFA.

We look forward to sharing a Foundation update and more office news soon!
