Another in the series of Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom non-fiction text examples to be used in your classroom.  Remember, these will be available every MONDAY afternoon that FarmWeek is published during the school year.

‘Long way to go’ on WOTUS


  1.  Using context clues, what does WOTUS stand for? (Waters of the United States)
  2. Learn more about WOTUS and the impact on agriculture at :

April, 2018- US EPA and Army Corp of Engineers proposal to recodify (re word) original order could be issued.

May 2018 EPA could realease notice of proposed rulemaking

Summer 2019 EPA could issue final ruling on WOTUS.
