Ag Teacher Vacancy - Waterloo High School

Position     Co-Ag Teacher & FFA Advisor

The Waterloo High School located just south of St. Louis in Monroe County and section 22 will be hiring a co-ag teacher for the 2018-19 school year.  The new teacher will be working with Tim McDermott. Course offerings include: Greenhouse Production & Floral Design, Biological Science Applications in Ag, Physcial Science Applications in Ag, and Ag Biotechnology.  Approximately 175 (9-12) grade students are taking ag courses out of 875 in the student body. 

Facilities include: 2 classrooms, ag mechanics and engineering lab, greenhouse, agriscience lab, aquaculture tank, and landscaping area. Award winning FFA Chapter named the top FFA Chapter two years in a row. 

Salary is $34,900(first step of 9 months & 0 years experience) plus TRS and paid single health insurance. 10 month extended contract and 3 Circle Grant eligible dependent upon FY19 grant funding.  Very supportive administration, community, and FFA Alumni. More information at -
