March Foundation Update

Friday, March 16, 2018

Sent to All Contacts

Thank you to all of the chapters that have participated in the 2017-18 Illinois Foundation FFA Local Collection Drive.  The collection drive is the cornerstone of the organization and without a successful drive, the Foundation would not be able to assist in funding all of the activities for the Illinois FFA members to enjoy.

Local Collection Drive - Budgeted Goal $300,000.00

The current collected total for the Local Collection Drive as of March 15:

  • The grand total of the Local Collection Drive: $302,904.30

The $300,000 goal was included in a deficit budget that the Foundation passed for the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year. The section goals that were handed out at the IAVAT conference totals $416,000.  You can still send in money for the Local Collection Drive, but we can not guarantee certificates or recognition in the State Convention Program.

If you have any question about the Local Collection Drive, please contact the FFA Center at 217-753-3328

State at Large Collections - Budgeted Goal $40,000.00

  • Total: $37,463.32

Sponsorships & Other Contributions - Budgeted Goal $124,000.00

We also have obtained several sponsorships throughout this fiscal year.

  • FFA Sponsorships: $76,113.97

  • IAVAT Conference Sponsorships: $9,750

  • Total: $85,863.97

*Currently we are on track with the potential to receive more than budget if all convention sponsorships come through.

We appreciate the time and effort that everyone has given to help us reach the goal for the collection drive, we could not have gotten this far without all of your support.   Thank you!
