CHSI Program Student Opportunity

Illinois Ag Ed Family -

Celebrating High School Innovators (CHSI) is a joint program of Illinois State University, Miliken University and Pontiac Township High School.  See below and attached for more information from program director Paul Ritter.



Help Celebrating High School Innovators (CHSI) celebrate your students for their supervised agricultural experience (SAE).  Your student's contributions are exceptional and inspirational! Your students, individual or a team, can earn cash and scholarships for their work in one or more of the following areas: 

  • arts media & literature,
  • business entrepreneurship,
  • social entrepreneurship,
  • health & nutrition, and
  • science, technology, engineering & math (STEM).  

We know that you prepare your students to solve problems as leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, stewards, and builders. Encourage them to apply today at chsinnovators.orgApplications are due March 15, 2019. The top 30 innovations will be invited to compete for the $1,000 cash prize at Millikin University Friday, April 26, 2019. 

CHSI is presented by Illinois State University, Millikin University, and Pontiac Township High School. The competition identifies, fosters and celebrates Illinois high school students whose contributions are exceptional and inspirational.
